It seems the pay-as-u-go computer kiosks installed at hostals in Switzerland and Germany set javascript to off... the monitor shows the edit tool bar, however it is broken. And the speed limits how or even if, the other tools work at all. Especially the text tool and the preferences box, so don't try to enter text unless you get to a cyber cafe... Note: There's always one near-by at about two Euros per hour. Want to learn to surf in a fun family type environment?
Well try the barikka surf camp in the north of spain!
Don't need a board or a suit, it's all there.
And all meals (great food) is provided, I haven't eaten fresher tuna in a long time. Big chunks of tuna are served with a huge veggie salad, local tomatoes and olive oil, what a great combo. If the surfs good you'll stay near the beach and dine for lunch at the DINGO aussie surf bar-n-grill. A three course meal awaits...

I recommend the north of spain. In the photo to the left and above you can see the old and new town of Bilbao. A great visit and just a thirty minute ride on the train to the coast. Go to Placentia, it's at the end of the tracks, and wander along the river to the beach. Here in the north country (July 29th, 2006) it is cloudy and hot, the rain is a welcome friend as the sun goes down at 21:30. Surfing is clean and the water is warm, yet small in size. next stop is barcelona, south spain and hotter weather. if you dont like hot subways avoid this place.
